DAVID BOWIE WITH MARC BOLAN ORIGINAL TRIDENT TAPE REEL - PRETTIEST STAR / LONDON BYE TA-TA.
An original tape reel in Trident Studios box, containing two recordings made in January 1970 by David Bowie, Prettiest Star and London Bye Ta-Ta. 'Prettiest Star' was released as a single and then latterly re-recorded in 1973 for use on Aladdin Sane. London Bye.. was recorded originally in 1968 but then recorded again in the sessions featured on this reel, with Marc Bolan on guitar. The versions heard on this recording differ subtly from the commercially released tracks - notably on 'Prettiest Star' there appear to be fewer effects/processing on Bowie's vocals and the mixes are ever so slightly rougher than the mastered versions.
